Why home charging wins

Public fast chargers are convenient on road trips, but at around 55c/kWh they can cost as much as petrol. Charging at home, especially overnight on an EV plan or from your own solar, is where the real savings are.

Solar and EVs are a natural pair

If you charge during the day from your solar system, each kilometre costs you little more than the feed-in tariff you'd otherwise earn, often under $2 per 100 km.
